Sony Alpha Nex5 – Next Generation Digital Camera

Posted By admin on September 27th, 2011

Just supposed we do not understand how to take good pictures with a digital camera. We only shoot directly the camera to out friends and family, and her e-mail the pictures so they can remember what they were doing five minutes ago.

Is it good results? Depends, If you want superb picture, use a digital camera class, aka DSLR (digital single lens reflex). In this camera, the image entering through a lens, then reflected from a tilted mirror view finder. When you take a picture, the lens must be moved. DSLR cameras are not just price and weight lighter. Her body was too thick.

But the Sony Alpha Nex5 uses different SLD (single lens digital). At the SLD, there is no mirror. Impact, the camera body could be diluted.

Example, Sony has a flange focal length of 18mm – this is the distance from the flange where the lens associated with the camera to “film” or planar where the captured image. As a comparison, the cameras MFT (Micro Four Thirds format) from Olympus and Pentax do it in 20mm, while the Samsung NX10 within 20.5 mm.

Another problem at the camera, the higher pixel selected (Sony Alpha Nex5 a camera with 14.2 megapixels), it becomes increasingly difficult to capture each pixel into the silicon.

But Sony is a major semiconductor manufacturer and the Exmor APC HD CMOS developed and used in Nex5, is extraordinary silicon. We are not able to explain it, so if you want to know please read on Sony’s site (http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/technology/technology/theme/cmos_01.html).

Sony Alpha Nex5 has tight competition with the Olympus Pen E-P2 and Lumix GF1. But there are unique feature at the Sony Alpha Nex5: 3D Panorama Mode. This mode lets you shift the camera slowly along the line of view and catch it in one panoramic image. The camera will automatically ‘sew’ multiple images into one wide image.

Another feature is the ability to record HD video (high definition) 1080i. LCD Viewer it can be tilted so that you can still take pictures with a view of the rather difficult position, or in a narrow space.

The biggest advantage remains Nex5 Sony Alpha is the price. In the US, the Sony Alpha Nex5 which will be sold on June 2010 priced starting at US $650. And the rival with similar product sold at a price between US$500 and US$1,000.
